Preparation Steps
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

- Brown the ground beef in the leftover bacon fat until fully cooked, around 6-8 minutes.

- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, then pour in marinara sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the grated Parmesan; season with salt and pepper.

- Layer in a baking dish: spread sauce, then 3 noodles, half the ricotta mixture, half the beef, and some mozzarella. Repeat, ending with noodles and remaining mozzarella on top.

- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil, top with mozzarella, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.

Notes
Allow lasagna to rest for 10-15 minutes after baking for easier slicing. Use freshly grated cheese for best results.
